Progesterone level is 0.20

I just need to know if I need progesterone therapy with a 0.20 blood level?

Hi there I would have to know what your oestrogen level is to work out your ratio. But my guess is it will show a higher oestrogen to progesterone ratio. I can tell you that when I had my test done, my progesterone level was 0.6 and I was a basket case! I had so many symptoms, as my oestrogen was very much higher than my progesterone. Do you have any symptoms, as that's another indication. As you're in Menopause, they've probably told you your progesterone is fine, and your oestrogen possibly low. Please read through this page I've given you for more pointers. I do recommend 100-200mg/day progesterone, more if symptoms are severe. We also have a page on Oestrogen Dominance too. Take care Wray
