Paracetamol and NatPro Cream

by Lenita

Hi,

Today is the first day that I'm using NatPro Cream prescribed by my Naturopath after he tested me for allergies and menopause using the Vega machine. He has put me on a 2 week detox plan which includes only eating baked/raw apples, ripe pears with soaked prunes or ripe Papaya for breakfast, drinking warm water or apple tea (made by cooking apples in water and then extracting the water as tea). Lunch is a big salad with apple cider vinegar dressing, 2 potatoes or Ryevita crackers. Dinner is 4 tablespoons of steamed vegetables from a specific list. I also need to drink 4-6 glasses of water a day and 1 cup of weak green tea.

It has not started well as I have had a headache for most of today. I would like to know if it is okay to take paracetamol for some relief during the next two weeks on the detox. Will it possibly interfere with the NatPro Cream I will be using?

I would appreciate any advise as this is my first post on this site.

Paracetamol and NatPro Cream

Hi there. I cannot say for sure but I really doubt that Paracetamol will affect the Natpro cream, however if you are trying to detox, you shouldn't be taking Paracetamol. Having said that, I have given up coffee for a awhile and had such a bad headache for 2 days that I ended up taking a headache tablet, so see how you go. Do your best but don't be too hard on yourself.

Paracetamol and Natpro Cream

Hi Lenita

Well see how you go on the diet and let me know. So many sweet things there and sugar is a killer, carbs in general are not good. Where is the protein, we need protein!

How much Natpro has he suggested you use per day? Nothing less than 100mg/3ml per day is the recommended amount, more if symptoms are severe. Did he warn you of Estrogen Dominance symptoms, he should have as they can be rather hectic if not enough progesterone is used and this is what you are finding out now with your adverse symptoms. Natpro does not interfere with any drug, but why don't you try rubbing Natpro at the back of you neck and up the side of your temples. It is an excellent anti inflammatory. Use 1/2 teaspoon and see how you get on.

Has he tested your Vitamin D level as a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone? If he has tested it, was is your level?

I also live in Cape Town, if you would like any further help with this, please contact me via my own website - see here.

Take care.
