Hi I am 53 and have low bone density. I decided against conventional hrt but at only 5 ft nothing was very concerned re losing height. I recently saw a bioidentical specialist who has put me on 250mg Progestrone/ 50mg Pregnalone - I must divide the troche into quarters and have it twice daily (ie in total half a troche daily). I am apparently borderline low thyroid. Anyway in one week I have picked up visible weight (I am tiny so its very obvious.) I am craving carbs, and still having insomnia. I take melatonin for this but lately that isnt working! I am 5 years post menopause and would dearly like to know if this troche is a good option. Otherwise healthy.
