I'm a young man using progesterone cream

by John
(Brazil)

Hi my name is John and I took propecia a hair loss drug and that made me very sick I no longer have libido, energy, I developed brain fog, tinnitus, no morning wood anymore, erectile dysfunction.

I saw some guys fixing all their problems by taking progesterone cream 10mg everyday so I decided to do the same. Suddenly I got some strange symptom I don't know if I'm using some bad words because I'm not a native speaker so I will try to write it in medical terms. First my penis got really numb, I got some strange dreams like they were very real, my brain fog got a little worse and then the good things started to happen in 3 days taking the cream. I started to wake up really refreshed, got morning erection, then my mood got excellent I've felt so depressed for so many years in this poison and then I got really happy with energy then my libido returned I even lost some weight, belly fat and gynecomastia I had prior taking the cream.

But suddenly I lost everything I got and the cream stopped working. The sign I know that the cream will work is that it made me very calm the first days I applied it, the numbness down there, and the dreams, but now I don't feel anything is like applying water in my arms. I don't know if that happened because I had some drinks and increased my estrogen and prolactin by drinking. So I'm really worried because suddenly I got so good almost feeling normal I was even crying of happiness it was like a God's miracle.

Wray do you think I should take zinc, b6, b12, vitamin D or any other thing to help with the cream. Should I increase the dosage of the cream? I'm using Biovea woman cream as the other guys used the same and as I know it worked I intend to continue with this brand.

One other thing I would like to know should I apply it to a largest area as possible and rub until the cream dissapear/dry or should I let it in my skin and don't rub too much to make it still watery?

Thank you so much for your help.

Take more and a few other things
by: davidgmills

You may not be taking enough especially if you are adding estrogen to your diet now. My regimen is that I take 60 mg topical of progesterone a day, 100 mg of pregnenolone every other day (longer half life) 25 mg of DHEA a week and 3000 mg of D- Aspartic acid a day to increase LH. Before I went on testosterone therapy three years ago my testosterone was 155 and my estradiol 46. Two months ago I was tested and my testosterone was 590 and my estradiol 10.5. I have been on no testosterone therapy for sixteen months and been doing my regimen for a year (I just went to 3000 mg of D-Aspartic acid six weeks ago after doing 2000 mg for a year). I will be 64 in August.

Progesterone for men
by: Anonymous

Hi John ~ I've read previous posts by Wray where she states men can take upto 100mgs daily.. It sounds like estrogen dominance and so therefore an increase in dose may work. You can only try and see how you do. In the search window within the site, search progesterone fir men and various posts will show up.
Good luck.

I'm a young man using progesterone cream

Hello John!
Men should also take the supplements Wray recommends for women. My husband is on everything I take. You need D3 for sure and the B's will help with depression, along with so many others. You may want to look into supplement formula that she sells...it has most everything in it. For your hair loss I have read new research about pumpkin seed oil as my husband isn't losing his yet, but it is getting very thin and I'm trying to stop it...he's 53.

Now, if David Mills is reading this, I have a question for him. I am interested in what John is writing about also and have followed your other links to Wray as I am currently using progesterone on my husband basically as a preventative, not for any significant problem...although he does suffer from hot flashes, believe it or not LOL. I am curious though, what ever became of your cholesterol levels? God Bless to you both! RJ
