Gynecomastia Hairy Virilism Visceral Fat Low Libido

I'm a 42 years old man.

I suffer from mild gynecomastia, hairy virilism, visceral fat and low libido.
My doctor prescribed me Prometrium 100 mg on alternate days and 100 mg zinc per day.
What do you think about it?

Hi Ale I would agree with your doctor, although it's best to use progesterone daily, if not twice daily. I would suggest you open the caps and add the contents to a small amount of skin cream, and rub that on. Oral progesterone is the least effective Delivery system. Zinc is excellent and he's suggested a good dose too. We do have a page on Man Boobs which has more info. Take care Wray

Hi there Unfortunately it's not something I can answer, it depends on too many unknown factors. Generally progesterone helps other symptoms within 3-6 months, often sooner.
