I just had a saliva test which resulted in my progesterone levels being 9,831 and normal for my age should be 2-3000. My Estrodiol is in range, but of course ratios out of range due to the high progesterone.
I do use bio-identical hormone cream from Women's International and it has both progesterone and pregnonalone in it. My pg/e2 is 1294 and should be 1-500. I thought for sure my adrenals were wiped out since I have been feeling really poorly with little sleep and tired most of the time. I also have been feeling achy and my vision is affected. I had a hysterectomy over 2 months ago due to carcinoma in situ/cervix and now I almost wonder if the progesterone didn't cause it since hpv tests were all negative. I am healthy with normal labs except for the 2 mentioned above.
I am really concerned about my health since I've battled adrenal exhaustion before, as well. I wonder about environmental toxins and if previous exposure could cause the hormonal imbalances I am experiencing. I eat so pure and have for years and am not over-weight. I look like a picture of health, so drs never take me seriously, but I don't feel like it. Your reply is welcome and appreciated. The pharmacist did not know what to make of the test.
