A friend with Prostate surgery

(Houston, TX)

A friend of my husband had prostate surgery. I am unaware of the type or purpose. He was a tall robust man at the time of surgery.

18 months after surgery, he and his wife had dinner with my husband and me. I was shocked to see him. He had shrunken tremendously in height, was bent over like the letter C and used a cane. His earlier surgery may have surgically corrected his prostate difficulty, but it surely did not address the osteoporosis that clearly ravaged his body.

Hi there Whether he had BPH or cancer, I would recommend he has a vitamin D test done. A lack of this leads to inflammation and cancer. Also osteoporosis. Maybe you would suggest this to him? If he needs more info, please ask him to look at the Vitamin D Council and GrassrootsHealth websites. We do have many men using progesterone for both BPH and prostate cancer, he could consider using this too, see here, here and here. Take care Wray
