Hi, here I am again, I'm taking a cream called prolief made from arbonne, my dr recommened it, I'm taking 2 pumps a day, I have been kind of bouncing between promitrium and creams. I totally quit the prometrium and, using the cream, my breats had become sore and still are I don't know how much progest is in the prolief, but I know you recommened high doses. Could you tell me how to figuure it? I'm on compouned t cream vagifem and menest but ran out so untill I hear from my dr I'm on divegel... she just redid my blood levels and I'm waiting for results. Been working on hormones since Aug and still no energy, or sex drive don't feel normal and I do suffer anxiety and depression and on meds for that. If you could let me know how high amounts of progest would help me, I know the promitrium made me more depressed and dizzy and diariah. Thanks.

Progesterone cream

Hi Carol The only way to figure it out is if you know the strength of the cream you are using. ie how many mg progesterone in each gram of cream. Once you know this it's easy to work out how much you need. Please rub the cream directly on your breasts, it's very helpful, see here and here. Please avoid all oestrogen, even if it's natural. I think this might be why you are still struggling with no energy, sex drive etc. The reason you had more depression etc was due to progesterone stimulating oestrogen. It's essential to make progesterone the dominant hormone, please see our page on Oestrogen Dominance which explains why this occurs. You might like to see our page on Saliva Tests too. Take care Wray
