I am 44yrs old, have been dealing with symptoms of hormone imbalance for about 7yrs (so I was told by many Dr's).
I have really bad mood swings, irregular heavy periods, low libido, migraines, weight gain that just doesn't drop no matter how healthy I eat or how much I exercise, plus anxiety, depression, brain fog and fatigue, but then about a month ago an AD popped up on FB about biote pellets. I went to the website, found a Provider had them put in and its been a little over a month now.
I am feeling better a lot of my symptoms have gone away, the brain fog and fatigue was the worst and that's all gone. Im just very confused about the progesterone, when I got the pellets, estrogen and testosterone, my provider never mentioned progesterone and when I went to see my family Dr. she asked if I was taking progesterone but never said anything else, so I went back to the OBGYN that placed the pellets and asked and she forgot to give it to me because she said she did but didn't, so she prescribed me 200mg of progesterone for everyday at bed time but feeling really scared to take them.
I have read so many things about it and am very confused, is it safe to take everyday?
