Where is my period

I've been on progesterone therapy taking 40 my per day but it wasn't enough to help anything so I boosted it to 100 mg and my period is due and I'm having cramps but no period has come. It is 2 days late, and I'm never late!! When I started with the 40 it didn't affect my cycle, I don't get why this is. Does this mean my symptoms will improve and my period will be light or will it be heavy? Is this a good sign or not? Will I completely skip this month but get it next month, or will this one come in about a week? I'm so confused and nervous, please give me some guidance :/

Hi my period ended up coming, and it turns out the 100 mg actually worked awesome for my symptoms. I'm going to move to 250 mg so I can feel even better! Thank you so much! I wouldn't have known to up my dosage of it weren't for this site. It was only 4 days late, that's not bad :). And my bleeding is light enough to do normal activities!
