ovulating seven days after period

Hi
I have never written on something like this but I need advice.
In the last 12 months I have had 5 miscarriages. I have irregular cycles but doctor put me on progestrone when I ovulate.
It's easy for me to tell when im ovulating as I get cramps and discharge. Anyway last month the cycle didn't work so I stopped progestrone and got my period.
It has been seven days since my period started and I am ovulating today already. Is this possible? Is this over using progestrone?
