Multiple estrogen dominance symtoms

by Farah
(Mumbai,India)

Hi This is Farah here. How are you doing joy? well I'm 32 yrs old and I have multiple symptoms of estrogen dominance like shortness of breath, heaviness in chest, slight hot flashes, tender nipples, acne and hair-loss. I don't have pcod and my cycles are regular.

I was prescribed oral micronised progesterone 200 mg twice a day and it's been 6 months now I'm taking it. First 2 months I got my periods but from last 4 months I'm not getting my period. I'm scared to take a break because I know my symptoms will flare up more. Sometimes I feel better and sometimes it starts all over again probably because my exposure to estrogenic things around me . I have also developed 3 lipomas on my left shoulder 3 weeks ago and I'm sure it's because of estrogen dominance. I think its still in a stimulating mode. I'm thinking to add more micronised progesterone capsule nidagen 200 mg by inserting in vagina for better absorption.
No progesterone creams are available here.
What should I do?
Please help
Farah

Multiple estrogen dominance symptoms

Hi Farah

You are suffering from Estrogen Dominance. Tender breasts and nipples could mean that you are lacking in iodine. Have you been tested for Insulin Resistance? You might like to read the Hair Loss page.

Any form of oral progesterone is not the best Delivery Method as so much gets destroyed by the gut and liver. Inserting in the vagina is a better idea. Try increasing the amount. You can order a good progesterone cream online. Natpro is excellent and will give you better results. If 200mg cream doesn't help, increase until you find an amount that suits you. It does take 2-6 months before the body adjusts. Please read How to use Progesterone Cream.

Vitamin D3 is very important, a deficiency reduces the benefits of progesterone. Nothing less than 5,000iu's per day is needed. Optimal range is between 70-100ng/ml. Magnesium and vitamin K2 with no soy are important co-factors needed when taking vitamin D3.

Multiple estrogen dominance symptoms
by: Joy

Hi Farah

I suggest that you continue to use the cream every day until you feel stable enough and your estrogen dominance symptoms have cleared. You can then use the cream by following your cycle which is your luteal phase. Progesterone should be used during the luteal phase which is 12-14 days long. as explained on the How to use Progesterone Cream page.
