How to measure the Natrpro

by April Smith
(El Dorado, CA)

I have received my first tube of Progesterone. My periods were 32 days apart this past time. Should I wait until 16 days after the last period?

Also, how do you measure? I have already written in about being estrogen dominant and got advice that I should start off with 400 mg a day. How do I measure to get that amount? Thank you.

Hello there, 400 milligrams is roughly 2 teaspoons. Maybe start at 200 milligrams which is a teaspoon, half in the morning and half at night. See how your body responds if you get worse then go up. You maybe have to use it straight through if you estrogen dominant. Just until you come into balance. It's important also to have liver support, dandelion capsules seems to be the best. You can get it from any health food store, it is to detox the liver. I'm sure Wray will give some great advice. Hope this helps.

How to measure the Natrpro

Hi April The comments below are good advice, I would try the 200mg/day first. And she also suggests seeing how you respond, we are all so different, it's impossible to tell how anyone will react to the progesterone. I only suggest 400mg/day if hot flushes or heavy, continual bleeding are a problem. Maybe you do have this, I can't remember your last comment. 400mg is 12ml or 2.5 tsp, 200mg/day is 6ml, or 2 1/4 tsp. Dandelion is good, it helps cleanse the kidneys too, milk thistle is another excellent herb for detoxing the liver. Take care Wray
