Hi,
I'm a 53 year old woman who this month can change status to having reached the menopause as I have not had a period for a year. I started going through the stages at 47.
A couple of years ago I read Dr John Lee's book "Hormone Balance Made Simple" and he changed my suffering for good.
I took a saliva test which showed I was estrogen dominant, and I then addressed that with natural progesterone cream (frp, one of the suppliers he recommended but was not compensated for).
I am now completely in balance but I have a question if anyone knows the answer or who can direct me to the correct information source?
How long do I need to take the progesterone cream for?
I understand women continue to make estrogren (not enough for periods) into their 70s. Does this mean I need to take the progresterone cream til then also to remain in-balance?
Many thanks
Helen
