CONFUSED ABOUT WHICH DOSE- CAN I SWITCH TO NAPTRO FROM OTHER BRAND?

by Marilu
(Salem, OR)

Thank you so much for explaining it so clearly and for the useful link, and thank you for answering my question, Wray

Ok so if I understand precisely it works this way:
Best way to avoid the worsening of these estrogen dominance reactions, is to START on larger amounts rather than on lower

I will give it a try today, yesterday was my 13th day, so I started on 20 mg, and in fact, I had breathing problems again bad could not sleep, even if the dose was low

So I hope is safe to increase directly tonite from 20 to at least 100mg or so
I did order Natpro but unfortunately I have not received it yet so I am still using the oil progesterone , which is very difficult to use more than 50 mg per time, as it takes for ever to massage and it does not get absorbed so i am hoping it will work anyhow

Can I switch directly to Naptro (400 mg), when the shipping arrives, even if I am using the oil now? or is it dangerous to do so?

According to your knowledge, does iodine help in estrogen dominance conditions or it makes the conditions worse?

About saliva tests, are they accurate? Is it helpful to do them?
And can I purchase the kit on your site?

last question:
Is it possible that the breathing problems and insomnia I experience as soon as I start the Progesterone may be due to that maybe i may not be needing progesterone at all?
and it is caused by an overload of progesterone instead? considering that I have never really done the saliva test to find out?

Thank you so much again for your help
Marilu

CONFUSED ABOUT WHICH DOSE- CAN I SWITCH TO NAPTRO FROM OTHER BRAND?

Hi Marilu I can't remember what you told me in your other queries, but aren't you using progesterone to stop oestrogen dominance symptoms? If so then you don't have enough progesterone and you need more. But I can assure you it's not the progesterone causing the breathing problems, progesterone is vital for normal lung function, oestrogen constricts smooth muscle. Progesterone expands airways and lungs, it's used for asthma and other breathing problems, see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here. Saliva tests are accurate as they measure the amount in tissues, not just in the serum as blood tests do. We don't have test kits on our site, but you can get them from ZRT Labs. And it doesn't matter if you switch brands when using another, just a pity not to use the one up as it's cost you! Continued below.

Hi Marilu Iodine doesn't help with oestrogen dominance, but if progesterone doesn't help with sore breasts, then it's evidently an iodine deficiency. Sore breasts can be caused by lack of iodine, see here, here, here, here, here and here. An easy way to find out if the level is low is to get a tincture of iodine. Put 3 drops anywhere on the inner arm, rubbing them in with the dropper. If the patch fades in a few hours it means there's a deficiency. Continue applying it until the patch takes days to fade. Alternatively have a blood test.

what kind of oil?
by: Anonymous

hi Marilu,
what kind of oil is your progesterone in?
if you are allergic to the oil, that could cause breathing problems. Breathing problems (and possible allergic reactions) are not worth experimenting with.
if you connect the breathing problems directly to using this progesterone, it could be dangerous to continue.
If at all possible, I encourage you to find out all of the exact ingredients and make sure they are not present in the Natpro (or any other things you use).
Anaphylactic reactions, if that is what you are experiencing, can become worse each time you are exposed to the trigger.

disclaimer: I'm not a health professional, just a person with many sensitivities and worried about you :-)

what kind of oil?

Hi there How kind of you to point this out. I immediately thought of the oestrogen connection, but you are so right. Nut oils can cause this in some, I think the one she uses is coconut oil. In case she hasn't seen the Natpro ingredients, I'm giving you the link in case she reads the page again, see here. Take care Wray
